SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

The main responsibilities:

•          Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
•          Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
•          Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
•          Participate in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
•          Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
•          Guide other Accountants when needed.
•          Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation
•          Participation in ERP system implementation.

Requirements:

•          Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance qualification (MBA is an advantage)
•          Certification of ACCA (F7 or DipIFR) , CFA, CIMA is a big advantage
•          Min 5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting, 2 years in a senior position (Work experience in big audit companies is an advantage)
•          Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
•          Working experience with accounting or ERP software
•          Good knowledge of the English language.
•          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•          Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
•          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Location: Heydar Aliyev International Airport
Work schedule: Full time, 5 days per week, 2 Days off

COST CONTROLLER

The main responsibilities:

•          Determine costs and efficiency of company purchasing activities;
•          Monitor expenses and ensure the accurate recording by established guidelines.
•          Investigate and critique variances to budget of the prior year
•          Participate in the inventory count process, and identify differences between actual count and system
•          Identify wastage and explain the reason for it
•          Monitor purchasing prices of goods or services, make frequent comparisons, and ensure there are proper bid-tabs
•          Collect and compile purchasing data for analysis;

Requirements:

•          University degree in accounting, finance, or business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field preferred;
•          Fluent Azerbaijani Knowledge essential. Good English and Russian is an asset
•          Minimum 3 years of previous accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience;
•          Strong computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office, especially strength in Excel;
•          Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, standards and regulations;
•          Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
